assignment
- data integration platform was needed to safely and efficiently conduct a large-scale survey with a large number of monitors.
- With the existing relay server using HULFT, it was necessary to synchronize the transfer order and coordinate transfer timing with the client company, making it difficult to increase the frequency of data integration.
- In order to start the survey as soon as possible, it was also important to develop the system in a short period of time and to optimize costs.
Key points of the solution
In addition to moving the research analysis system to Amazon Web Services, a relay server using HULFT-HUB was set up as a proxy server to safely and efficiently conduct questionnaire surveys with a large number of monitors. By creating a system that does not directly connect INTAGE and the client company's systems, the occurrence and spread of risks was prevented, and more secure data integration was achieved. Furthermore, by utilizing HULFT-HUB 's standard functions such as "storage function," "transfer order control," and "double transmission prevention," significant functional enhancements to the relay server were implemented in a short period of time. The reduction in development costs and the synergistic effect of using AWS have resulted in a total cost reduction of approximately 30%.
A relay server was built on AWS using HULFT-HUB which functions as a proxy server. Transferred data is stored on HULFT-HUB, and it has a function to prevent overtaking and send data in the order in which it was transferred, as well as a function to automatically resend data if a problem occurs on the receiving server. The customer system and AWS are connected via a dedicated line.
