The host system and the security gate system use different platforms, so character code conversion processing must be implemented separately.
International conference venues have multiple security gates, and visitors must be accurately authenticated regardless of which gate they enter or exit through, so it is necessary to support a system that simultaneously send authentication information from the management server of the higher-level system.
If there is a problem with data integration with the higher-level system, authentication at the security gate may not work properly, which could hinder smooth entry and exit.

Key points of the solution

Kumahira used HULFT to achieve secure data integration with the host system connected to the security gates that control entrance and exit. By using HULFT, the character code conversion process can be set up simply by selecting the transfer type. Data can be encrypted before exchange, preventing information leaks and data tampering. In addition, simultaneous send of authentication information to multiple security gates and functions to check for data loss when sending and receiving files could be implemented without the need for manual configuration. This significantly reduced development time and enabled stable operation of the security gates.
